Kew’s shopping hub is centred around Kew village near the tube station, where you’ll find select high street names mixed with independent stores, cafes and delicatessens. Gastropubs and other gourmet eateries are plentiful in Kew.  There are also some great pubs and restaurants along the riverbank near Kew Riverside inclduing the Ship down towards Mortlake ( on the finishing line of the famous Oxford Cambridge boat race), and The Bell & Crown, City Barge and Bull on the opposite bank at Strand on the Green.

 

 

Transport

There are plenty of good transport links nearby, including Kew Bridge Railway Station and Kew Gardens Railway Station. There are river bus services from Kew Pier to Richmond, Hampton Court and Westminster Pier in central London. There are also three bus routes that serve Kew: the 65 to Kingston, the 391 to Kensington and the R68 to Richmond.
